Michelin’srestaurant ratings are considered some of the most reliable and coveted.
They’re curated by experts, after all.
Yelp, on the other hand, uses ratings from normal novices.
It seems, though, that both sources tend to agree with each otherat least in New York.
Over at FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver does his usual deep dive into the numbers.
He found that the two different review systems pretty much agree.
He points out that Yelp reviewers may have a bias towards expensive restaurants.
