Workfrom Showcases Coffee Shops and Other Alternative Places to Work

If you’re able to work remotely, sometimes the best place to workisn’t your home, but rather an alternative workspace where other digital nomads like yourself gather.

Workfrom aims to build the largest, most comprehensive database of coffee shops, cafes, bars, and coworking spaces where you’re able to get work done.

The site provides detailed listings of places, with their hours, Wi-Fi speeds, seating capacity, and pro tips (e.g., sit in the back where there are more outlets or try the blueberry muffins).

Right now, communities covered in detail are Amsterdam, Austin, Los Angeles, Maribor, New York City, Omaha, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

There are additional cities around the world with recommendations from the Workfrom community, though, and you’re able to add your own recommendations and tips.

So far I haven’t seen a resource that lists every alternative workspace available, but maybe this one will grow to do that and help you playWorkstation Popcornwherever you may be.
