Why dont we follow the Europeans lead?
Heres an example of how this worked out for food dyes.
As a result:
The UK banned all three dyes.
The European Union did not ban the dyes, but required warning labels on products using them.
Theyconcluded that science hasnt shown a causal linkbetween dyes and childrens behavior.
The US, on the other hand, only bans chemicals that have beenprovento be problematic.
Theres still room for debate on which is the right choice, but now you know the difference.
