Craigslist is a great place to find inexpensive stuff, butit can also be dangerous.
To combat crimes, police departments across the country are offering safe zones for Craigslist transactions.
Craigslist recently updated their safety page to encourage users to exchange high value transactions at local police stations.
In these zones, police are on duty, and theres usually 24-hour surveillance.
Fox News posted a map of several stations that have officially launched these zones, above.
But maybe your area isnt on the map.
If thats not possible, at least take theproper precautions to stay safeandnot get swindled.
