Once inside, head for the “Store Pickup” sign to quickly get your order.
Then select your desired pickup store by entering your zip code.
Once your item is ready, you’ll receive an email notification.
Bring in this notification, along with a valid photo ID to claim your purchase.
Only the person that placed the order can pick it up.
This takes only 20 minutes on average according to a Fry’s rep I spoke with.
Bring that email, along with the credit card you used to any register at your selected store.
According toFry’s stated policy, only the name on the credit card can pick up the order.
Gamestop
The Gamestoppick up at store programoffers a convenient way to shop.
You’ll pay the in-store price, not the online price.
After you have finalized your purchase you’ll get two emails.
TheHome Depot web site statesmost orders will be ready for pickup within two hours.
Be sure to bring the email along with the purchasing credit card when picking up your purchase.
Kohl’s
Kohl’s in-store pickup programis new and currently being rolled out.
Not all stores participate.
To determine if your local store does, press “Find in Store” on the product page.
If eligible, your order will be available for pick up within four hours.
You’ll get an email confirmation letting you know your order is ready.
Bring in the email along with a photo ID and head to the customer service desk.
Only the person who placed the order can pick it up.
Bring your email confirmation along with the purchasing credit card to any open register or service desk.
Enter their name and email address and they’ll get an email when the order is ready.
They’ll need to print out and bring that email with them.
Once you get confirmation, head to the customer service register with your photo ID to claim your order.
They’ll also need a photo ID and email confirmation.
When shopping on Macys.com, look for items marked “NEW!
Pick Up in Store” to determine eligible items.
You’ll get an email when your order is ready to be picked up, typically within 3 hours.
Also, during checkout, you might designate someone to pick up the order for you.
They’ll need to bring photo ID and confirmation email to the store.
Office Depot
On the shopping cart page select “In-store Pickup” then pick your local store.
Bring in your confirmation email, valid photo ID, and credit card used.
Office Depot will only release the order to the person who placed it.
But after that, Sears isparticularly awesome.
They’ve taken in-store pickup to the next level with theirShop Your Wayapp for iOS and Android.
By using the app, a Sears employee will bring your order out to your car while you wait.
If it takes longer, you’ll score a $5 coupon.
Be sure to have your photo ID and credit card available for verification purposes.
Only the person who placed the order can pick it up.
Walmart
When checking out from Walmart.com, select “Store Pickup” and choose your desired location.
Complete your purchase and wait for an email confirmation stating your order is ready.
Be prepared to show email confirmation and photo ID at time of pick up.
Retailers love the foot traffic and add-on purchases it brings, and shoppers love the convenience.
