CreditCards.com examined 100 of the most widely held general-purpose cards in the U.S.

They looked at the fees associated with each of these cards, then ranked them.

And there were a few additional findings that were interesting:

Fees are nearly universal.

The most-common fee is the late fee, charged by 99 of 100 cards.

If you dont travel, you probably dont care that your card charges foreign transaction fees, for example.
