Free flights and upgrades make travel rewards programs pretty awesome.
The only problem is, some airlines arent very flexible with them.
Here are the best and worst airlines for using travel rewards.
In theirSwitchfly Reward Seat Availabilitysurvey, IdeaWorks researched the availability of rewards flights for 25 different frequent flier programs.
They made over 7,000 queries on 280 specific dates for each airline.
They only had an availability rate of 57.9%.
It was the fifth worst airline for rewards seat availability.
Behind them: Scandinavian, Air China, Avianca, and LAN.
