This recipe is particularly helpful if you dont live anywhere that gets any snow.

Well, that and a pot and a some candy molds.

First, boil a pot of water and note the temperature at which it boils.

(Water boils at 212F at sea level, but you might not be at sea level.)

Boil without stirring until the temperature of the syrup reaches 28F above the temperature at which your water boiled.

Remove the candy from the heat and let it crystallize for 3-5 minutes.

Stir until opaque and pour into molds.
