The app comes from a company called Airside, but it’s officially recognized by the US government.
It doesn’t replace your traditional paper passport, but it can save you some time in line.
Simply enter the usual information and it will generate a QR code that personnel can scan.
The catch for the moment is that it’s only being accepted at the Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta.
However, if you’re planning an international flight any time soon, it’s worth checking out.
