When Facebook rolls out new features, they seem to love ignoring your default configs and toggling every notification to a loud on setting.
Facebook Live is one of the newest features, and if youre sick of getting a notification every time a friends decides to live video their drive through traffic, heres how to turn them off.
poke the drop-down arrow in the far right
Click prefs
Click Notifications
press Facebook
Under the Live Videos prefs, set the toggle to All Off.
Thats it, youll stop getting the notifications for live video, so you could return to your quiet life.
While youre in there, go ahead and verify everything else you dont want to get notifications for are all set to off as well.
