Google just dropped its first developer preview of the newest version of Android.

To begin with, you’ll need to haveyour unit unlockedandADB and fastboot installed.

Then, follow these instructions:

Download the factory image for your devicehere.

Unzip the file and place it in an easy-to-find location.

Connect your machine to your system via USB cable and ensure debug mode is enabled.

Open up a command line for ADB.

Enteradb reboot bootloaderto access your equipment’s bootloader.

Navigate to the folder containing the factory image.

Enterflash-allto execute the installation script.

Once the rig boots, sign on and you’re ready to go!

Be sure to do a backup before you begin.
