The downside: you’re able to usually only use one at a time.
Heres how to do it, with a tool called Speedify.
Why Would You Want to Do This?
In most cases, one persistent connection to the internet is enough.
If its stable and the bandwidth is good, you dont really need more.
In other cases, stability is the thing you need, not necessarily speed.
Maybe youre traveling and have a flaky connection thats not stable enough to get anything done.
This is whereSpeedifycomes in.
Speedify is a combination software load balancer and VPN fromConnectify, a nameyou may remember.
Speedifydoes (almost) everything that Dispatch did, but it also includes a built-in VPN.
Speedify isnt free, though.
Since its both software and a service, pricing is subscription based.
How to Bond and Speed Up Your Connections
Getting started withSpeedifyis pretty easy.
Since they have a free trial, well walk you through setting that up.
Heres what youll need to do.
Create a free accounton the Speedify web site.
If you have another Wi-Fi card, like a USB Wi-Fi adapter, plug it in, too.
Essentially, connect any data pipe adapters you want to use with Speedify and verify theyre enabled.
Doing this makes sure the adapter is availableeven if youre not using itso Speedify can see it.
Now, fire off the Speedify installer.
Once the installation is finished, Speedify will prompt you to get in or create an account.
Since you already created your account in step one, go ahead and get in.
Once Speedify is up and running, its fairly simple to use.
In our tests, Speedify worked quite well.
Other options You May Want to Enable
By default, Speedify tries to be fairly zero-configuration.
Lower latency and more uptime, even if all of your available networks are a little flaky.
This is especially useful if you want to get around location blocks on streaming content.
Consider this a bit of a bonus feature.
Where Speedify Falls Short
Of course, Speedify isnt perfect.
If that makes you a little nervous, you arent alone.
In their defense,Speedifys privacy policyandterms of serviceare on the up and up.
Thats especially important if youre traveling or using untrusted networks, both of which are Speedifys biggest use cases.
When youre out and about though, you have tons of networks to choose from.
