In short, good friends show up.

When in doubt, go.

Friends remember friends who answered the bell.

Likewise, it can be easy to turn down friend’s invitations or requests for favors.

You probably already spend a ton of your energy at work and with hobbies or family.

Good friends will understand if you occasionally can’t show up, but time will take its toll.
