Garage Doors work best when you don’t notice them.
But when they shut down, you could be left locked in or out of your own home.
Here are a few tips for troubleshooting your door to save some cash before calling in the pros.
First, check the remote.
Remotes can also get damaged and stop working, so if your battery is good then check another remote.
If that’s all fine, check your door and tracks for dents and damage.
A brush from your bumper or a rambunctious teenager can cause the door to jump the track.
If they are out of whack, the door won’t function.
Lastly, inspect the emergency cord that suspends from the door bracket.
